Below are my favourite pieces but Mark will be much better at talking you through all this than me. Just in Case at Starburst Boutique

An absolutely bloody lovely collection dropped about a week ago from Just in Case. What I love about Just in Case is the inspiring advertising campaigns and  romantic titles ( Aint No Cure for Love was the title of last winters) So if you like huge frivolous rose print 50`s skirts, neat cardigans in charcoal grey trimmed in silver lurex or just a wearable Marni style classics like the black pod dress thats in then this little lot is for you.  I bring you " Mother of Pearl" by Just in Case

I didn`t buy this but isn't it a nice picture!

Grey Pleat Dress £259.00

Pyrus at Starburst Boutique - AW 12

Hayling Top £69.00 Tweed Jacket £210.00
This is so long overdue I am almost ashamed. As some of you know Pyrus has been in since the middle of July and has been so well received that more stuff is on its way.  Dont be put of by the slightly heroin chic model and gloomy surroundings of the campaign pictures. The pieces are incredibly pretty, wearable and quite 1940`s inspired. Replacement stock should be in during September if you can wait that long.

Flora Black Dress £95.00..im working on getting the Gilet

Inspiration AW 12

I tend to compile images and mood boards for the forthcoming season to try and figure out what woks in-store ( as well as the much more serious number crunching analysis). I have done SS13 so will try and put that out soon but the other day I came across AW12 which I completed back in January. Sometimes the ideas featured bare no relation to what I actually buy but its nice to do the odd relatively fun thing for the business rather than endlessly worrying about unpaid bills and HMRC

Best Breakast

I have been meaning to mention this hotel since I stayed there back in April. Linthwaite Hotel is a real beauty on Lake Windermere  surrounded by truly stunning scenery. I took my pooch who was allowed ( at £9.00 per night) and who enjoyed bounding around his own private Tarn and  springy, gently landscaped grounds. But the main thing about this place is that it served the best full English Breakfast that I have ever eaten. I don't have a picture of the food but the dining room was civilised -  starched tablecloths and napkins, handmade jams, slight abundance of food options, gentle clinking of china and no children. As I was just on the eve of morning, noon and night nausea I tucked in heartily safe in the knowledge that I was eating for two and that for 9 months I wouldn`t have to hold my stomach in. Here are some pictures.
