The French Invasion - Part 1

As always I was inspired by the South of France when planning my buying trip for SS19 last year. Inspiration came from The French Riviera (during the late 1950`s and early 1960`s,) the photography of Slim Aarons and a brilliant article in Conde Nast traveller highlighting the French Riviera in its heyday. Not surprisingly we added to the existing French brands currently in store -  Armor Lux, Maison Labiche and Denim Studio with Tinsels, Sacrecoeur ,Le Petit Baigneur and Diega. See below for a mish mash of inspiration.

New Label Love Part Two - Fabienne Chapot

Bold new brand Fabienne Chapot dropped into Starburst last month so if you are  a fan of bonkers prints and mad splashes of colour then you are in luck.  Cute peach prints, delicate sea shells, pastel pink palm trees adorn 50`s style shorts, simple tea dresses, crossover blouses and floor sweeping maxi dresses. The catwalk show was divine with models emerging from giant shells adorned in fish scale sequins and the signature prints for SS19.
