Quinton & Chadwick at Starburst Boutique

New In Store this Autumn is a lovely knitwear brand called Quinton & Chadwick who specialise in knitted accessories and a small range of ready to wear. I fell in love with these pieces the second I clapped eyes on them back in February and I was mighty impressed by the two ladies behind the label Jess Quinton and Jane Chadwick who are keeping the tradition of British knitting alive. Many pieces like the Fairisle hat and scarf are produced in Scotland as well as each piece being hand finished. Keep going girls your knitwear is already proving a hit with Starburst customers. Prices from £22.00 for gloves and £42.00 for scarf's.

Zig Zag scarf £65.00

Petit Bateau Chic A/W Campaign

Well everyone seems to be loving Petit Bateau this A/W12. The yellow rain mac has caused a stampede. Unfortunately I cant get anymore stock of this beauty until the spring but I have been sending you all to the PB stores in Ledbury Road and the Kings Road in London (as that is the only other places I have seen it)

Petit Bateau have produced a very chic lookbook to accompany there A/W 12 season. Its almost a bit Ralph Lauren but with enough French zing thrown in  to stop it being a bit too creepy and glossy.

Stripe Cotton Cami £26.00 - Matching Cardigan available

Dukes Deli Dartmouth

I always get asked where to go for a cream tea and lunch when people visit Dartmouth. One of my favourite and almost daily destinations is Dukes Deli ( check out the new website) in Duke Street just a stones throw from Starburst. Championing all things British they have a great selection of local Devon cheeses, home-made jams and chutneys and hand baked cakes (which are produced daily). However the real ace up there sleeve is the multi talented chef Andy who can swiftly turn his hand to any dish from around the world. He also has a good pedigree having previously catered for private clients plus touring with the Chemical Brothers. I recommend the deli platter if you are ever stuck for lunch time inspiration. And just to give them one final big up they also cater for Vegans! The husband`s vegan so he loves it here.
